The HCPA is a self-employed contractor, and nothing in this agreement will constitute them as an employee, worker, agent, or partner of Gould Care Management Consultancy – GCMC.
As a self-employed contractor, we are responsible for fulfilling the client's demands, including meeting and shadowing to demonstrate our capabilities. We are not compensated for these initial meetings, but once we begin our work, the rates agreed upon with the client will apply.
Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) confirms that the HCPA shall be solely responsible for all income tax liability, national insurance, and pension or similar contributions related to the fees.
Upon joining the Gould Care Management Consultancy, the HCPA must hold valid public liability insurance, possess CRB/DBS certificates, have completed appropriate and up-to-date training, and be eligible to work in the UK.
Gould Care Management Consultancy- GCMC will invoice the client directly and agree to pay within three weeks after the HCPA’s last shift (per the client’s request). Payment will be made through bank transfer or online payments.
Gould Care Management Consultancy- GCMC and HCPA agreed to use the company’s Care management system to record every client’s visit, report an incident and view appointments. (These could be on Apps, online or on paper)
The HCPA acknowledges that an additional fee is payable to Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) if they receive payment directly from clients to provide the services.
The HCPA agrees that the per-hour rate may change depending on the client’s demands.
The HCPA agrees to wear appropriate and comfortable clothing while visiting the clients (LONG NAILS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED). Gould Care Management Consultancy—GCMC provides PPE if requested.
HCPA agrees to provide services, including cooking, shopping, and companionship, as needed. Additionally, personal care and medication administration must be arranged directly between the HCPA and the client, with their consent.
HCPA agrees that if Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) assigns a permanent shift, once HCPA accept the permanent schedule, HCPA are required to follow it and attend work. Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) do not grant sudden time-offs, as arranging replacements on short notice is difficult before the client meets them. It will cause client discomfort and erode trust.
If HCPA wishes to leave their permanent position, Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) requires at least three weeks' notice. Failing to provide this notice will result in the revocation of their remaining payment.
To deliver excellent service to Gould Care Management Consultancy (GCMC) clients, HCPAs can take as much time off as needed, provided it is reasonable and scheduled with advance notice, ideally at least three weeks in advance. Except in genuine emergencies, we will make every effort to cover visits. Health and social care settings differ from other professions; therefore, immediate replacement is not ideal, as clients often form a solid working relationship with the care provider assigned to them.
